libpython3.4-dbg software package provides Debug Build of the Python Interpreter (version 3.4), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpython3.4-dbg
libpython3.4-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpython3.4-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpython3.4-dbg *
You will get with libpython3.4-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
